The 7.5 km tunnel is immediately east of Akureyri on your 31 July route from Goðafoss. Pay online using the Hilux registration plate from 24 hours before until 24 hours after passing through.
At pickup: record the plate, booking reference, measured vehicle height, tyre pressure and insurance excess in your phone. After damage or a puncture, stop safely, photograph the scene and call Lotus before continuing.
